Dr. Jerry Wurster received his medical degree, internship and ophthalmology training at the University of Kansas Medical Center through 1968. Dr. Wurster received his fellowship training in neuro-ophthalmology at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary in Boston, Harvard Medical School, in 1969. He has maintained a clinical practice in ophthalmology in Kansas City since 1969 with special interests in cataract surgery, refractive surgery and neuro-ophthalmology. He has been involved in ophthalmology resident education and is currently Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at University of Kansas Medical Center and Clinical Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) School of Medicine. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. |
