Dr. Rohit Krishna is Board Certified and fellowship trained
in Glaucoma. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the Cleveland
Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio, where he also served as chief
resident. He then completed his Glaucoma subspecialty training at the
Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Florida. He was honored as a
recipient of a scholarship from the Heed Foundation during his fellowship.
He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Medical Association, American Glaucoma Society, Missouri State Medical Association, Missouri Ophthalmologic Society, Kansas City Ophthalmologic Society, and Metropolitan Medical Society. His primary area of interest and expertise is the diagnosis and management of glaucoma and cataracts. His particular interests lie in the use of glaucoma tube shunts for the management of complicated glaucoma. He is actively involved in resident and medical student education and research at the Eye Foundation of Kansas City and Department of Ophthalmology, University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) School of Medicine. He is Director of Clinical Research and Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Medicine. He has published numerous articles in the peer-reviewed literature. |
