Registration / Fees:

Advance registration is not required. There is no attendance fee for Grand Rounds. Physicians who are not members of the Truman Medical Center medical staff will be charged $25.00 per credit hour for official verification of CME activity.

Parking is available in the lot directly west of the Eye Foundation Building.

Grand Rounds Highlights:

This course will provide participants with valuable and current information needed for the successful ophthalmic practice. Residents, faculty and invited speakers will present challenging cases for review and discussion by subspecialty-based panels.

Objectives:

Target Audience:

Program participants will include ophthalmologists, residents and allied health care professionals.

Evaluation:

To assess the effectiveness of this series in meeting course objectives, an evaluation form will be distributed at the conclusion of each program. This information will be used in planning future Grand Rounds series.

CME Accreditation:

Truman Medical Center is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Truman Medical Center designates this educational activity for one (1) category 1 credit  toward the AMA Physician's Recognition Award. Each Physician should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the activity.

Verification of Attendance:

As the sponsor of this CME activity, Truman Medical Center is required to verify physician attendance in order to award CME credits.

Program participants desiring CME credits for this series must sign in at the registration desk on the 2nd floor of the Eye Foundation . The number of CME Category 1 credits to be awarded to each individual will be based on the monthly sign-in sheet.

CME Transcripts:

CME transcripts are available on request. Please contact Mina Milford at (816) 404-0975 or e-mail [email protected]. Transcripts are provided free of charge to physicians who are members of the TMC medical staff.  Non-member physicians will be charged $25.00 per credit hour for official CME transcripts.
